| February Meloncoly Not too much new. Ryan's visiting for the weekend. We broke out the Egg & Muffin machine this morning, which was delicious. I was spoiled with PRESENTS during his visit. I think i have about 5 new pairs of pajamas, and lots of chocolate and crystal light mixes. :) MMMMmmmm MMMMmmmm! Ryan is very good to me. Took this quiz about the election the other day. No matter what other issues there may be, I think the abortion issue compels me to vote pro-life. (Sorry Hillary & Obama). | I love Weddings On October 6th of this year, I was in Meryl and Tony's wedding. Meryl and I have known each other since our grade school dancing days at Carol's dance Studio. We stayed close in high school and have talked here and there between our busy schedules since. Mom took this one of all the bride's maids. It's a good one!

| Summer time winding down.... Well, it's that time again. You can always tell the summer is coming to a close when the 4th of July has come and gone. Can't say I've really done a whole lot of exciting things with friends or vacations this summer, but I have had many opportunities to serve the lord through daily Mass and hang out with my dear Ryan. This last week I took some time to observe a periodontist in the area. It was interesting, but a busy day of observation and learning that makes me realize how much more I have to learn before practicing dentistry. I've been planning to read all summer. Today, I finally broke out a book and started reading. The first and only book that I'll probably read this summer, and I managed to finish it all in one day. It's called "Rome Sweet Home" by Scott Hahn. Best book I've read in sometime. I couldn't stop reading it once I started. It's basically about the life of a presbyterian man and his wife and their journey to God through scripture. A good read about our spiritual faith and the gift of salvation through God's grace, while also witnessing some key scriptures that we need to remember in seeking the lord and his church. Makes me want to read the bible more. | | |
| defend to the end Went to Alton this last week for the meeting. A bunch of the other students from school were there as well. Even though the circumstances were not the best, it was really nice to see some familiar faces from school. I was really surprised by the number of parents that were there as well. Looks like there is a lot of support for the students on this one. Maybe it was because of situations like this that my dad always said any type of medical graduate school will change you forever. Took the following quiz today. For some reason the most depressing picture appealed most to me, but it is surprising accurate to my way of thinking at the moment. My mind is a constant race of thoughts, supporting arguments, and evidence nowadays. I just hope the race is almost over, because I'm getting tired. | Your Personality Profile | You are elegant, withdrawn, and brilliant. Your mind is a weapon, able to solve any puzzle. You are also great at poking holes in arguments and common beliefs.
For you, comfort and calm are very important. You tend to thrive on your own and shrug off most affection. You prefer to protect your emotions and stay strong. |
